So this weekend I finally made the trip out east Long Island, where the scenery is stupendous, the crisp air was refreshing and finally got a chance to pick my own pumpkins and buy some farm fresh goodies. Although I strutted through the farm, tripping over vines (literally) to find my perfect pumpkin, they were all soooo gigantic. Some probably weighed even more than me! I couldn't find a small one on the field, so I went in the shop and got 5 mini ones which were $1.00 each so I couldn't pass it up. While we were there we had some farm fresh roasted corn, some candy apples and some fresh veggies all made at that particular farm. It was such a treat!! Going out east during the fall to us people in NY is like being in a different state. It’s just so breathtaking, a scene that we don’t see every day.
In regards to the guy problem I was having last week I came to terms with it and kept telling myself that something better IS out there for me, it'll just take more time and more patience. It's annoying because I'm tired of looking and waiting and playing this game. I feel like Rapunzel in Tangled when she yearns about “when will my life begin”, but hopefully in the midst of all of this soul searching, my Prince Charming will come before I know it.
So I’m sorry that this blog is chock full of randomness. A bunch of random things I put together because I have so much to say LOL. As I stated last one, I mentioned that I started running again and that I feel great. I really do. I've was keeping up with the burpees routine in October that I posed a few blogs ago, as well as coming up with a weekly exceeds on and off weekly routine. I decided that Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday will be my work out days, leaving me to have a social life during the week, after work on Tuesdays and Thursday's. It's great. Twice a week I come home eat my dinner and go downstairs on the treadmill for 30-45 minutes, then do sit-ups, burpees, jumping jacks, planks, and squats for an additional 15minutes. I then shower and relax the rest of the night, giving my body some rest. Saturday and Sunday's I work out in the morning before I start my day or before going to Sunday mass, which is so convenient. I've lost 10 pounds since I started the blog and am really so excited to see what's next. Here's a before and after of when I started my journey to today. I can definitely tell a difference in my face and in my neck.
