Jennifer (Jen) Plouffé was diagnosed with PCOS in 2010 at age 15. The diagnosis was a tiny shock, but as it runs in the family, Jen was not as shocked as she could have been. Instead, Jen made it her point to learn as much about PCOS as possible, doing constant research on the condition.
Jen is currently a master’s student, studying public health, after having received a bachelors in anthropology. Using these two degrees, Jen wants to change how PCOS and other women’s health topics are approached in the medical field. In addition to her working on continuous PCOS research, graduate school, and generally doing things to support others, Jen also enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.
